Orlando, Fla. – REDCON Solutions Group announced today that Orlando-based professional service company is the new provider of staffing services for Polk County Government. The Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business was awarded a three-year contract to provide temporary and direct placement personnel services, including recruitment and personnel placement services for any employee who would be required to operate a motor vehicle as part of the function of their job.
The blanket purchase agreement was executed on July 9, 2016 and is for service until July 9, 2019. Since the start of the contract, REDCON has hired in excess of 24 full-time employees from entry-level positions to mid-executive level professionals. REDCON has employees working in the Departments of Parks and Recreation, Natural Resources, Communications, Water and Utilities, The History Center and the Polk Fire Department.
“Since the beginning, it has been a smooth and successful partnership between REDCON and Polk County Government,” said Kyle Evans, President of REDCON Solutions Group. “The number of personnel we provide and the variety of positions we fill, which require very specific skill sets, training and certifications, demonstrates the growth and versatility of REDCON.”
Evans, 33, who retired as a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant after being wounded during Operation Iraqi Freedom, founded REDCON Solutions Group in 2014. The Purple Heart recipient and his leadership team have a combined 20 years of government, military, corporate and non-profit sector experience.
